(the animal behaviourist)

In 2022, I began my journey working as a dog walker, which grew my interest in behaviour and how we connect with our pets. In 2026, I graduated from the Compass Education Level 5 Applied Animal Behaviour course (ABTC accredited). My approach centres on welfare, connection and creating a life worth living, both for dogs and their owners.

I work with owners who have behaviourally complex pets, experiencing a plethora of issues from fear, aggression, ‘reactivity’, phobias and cases where pain, trauma or long-term health issues are contributing factors to behavioural difficulties.

My methodology does not require perfection from either you or your dog; that’s highly unrealistic. But rather to give you and your dog the skills, confidence and self-efficacy needed for you to know that even on the hardest days, you can figure it out together.

THE PROCESS

  • STEP ONE: PLANTING THE SEEDS

    THE INITIAL CONSULTATION

    Once we have decided to work together, you will be sent a short questionnaire about the issues you are facing and your goals for changing your dog’s behaviour. Once I have this, I’ll create a plan, and we’ll set a date for our first session.

  • STEP TWO: HELPING YOU GROW

    TRAINING & BEHAVIOUR MODIFICATION

    Now the behaviour plan can begin. Our first sessions will focus on handler skills and management, with a plan for what to practice in between sessions. Each follow-up session will grow on the previous knowledge you acquired.

  • STEP THREE: LET GO & THRIVE

    INTERMITTENT SUPPORT

    Once your allotted sessions are over, you can choose how often you need support. Some people choose weekly or bi-weekly sessions, and others pick monthly follow-ups. It’s completely tailored to you.
